So what is a Multicar discount?
Well, the clue’s in the name – a Multicar discount is an online only discount we offer to existing Sheilas' Wheels Car Insurance and Sheilas' Wheels Essentials Car Insurance customers who have more than one car at home.
When you, or anyone living with you, insures additional cars directly with Sheilas' Wheels, we’ll discount every new car insurance policy by 15%*.
There's no limit to the number of cars you can insure with us, so every extra policy could get the discount. We’ll also apply a 15%* discount to the existing policy when it renews, so long as it was bought directly from us and meets the rest of the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility
- The person requiring cover will need to get their quote for additional Sheilas' Wheels car insurance policies directly at sheilaswheels.com.
- The discount will apply from the start of the new policy and will continue to be applied at each renewal as long as the Multicar eligibility criteria and our standard Underwriting criteria have been met.
- A Multicar discount will be applied to the existing policy at the next renewal and at each subsequent renewal as long as this policy was originally bought directly from Sheilas' Wheels, and the Multicar eligibility criteria and our standard underwriting criteria have been met.
- Minimum of two cars must be insured with Sheilas' Wheels by people living at the same home address.
- Our standard Underwriting criteria for your additional car insurance policies will apply.
- The Multicar discount offer is available from 19th June 2025. The terms apply from this date.
- The price quoted is valid up to the start date you chose when getting your quote.
- When answering the existing customer question on sheilaswheels.com, you must select ‘yes’ to yourself or someone in your household being an existing policyholder, otherwise you will not be eligible for the multicar discount.
- We reserve the right to modify or withdraw the multicar discount at any time.
Exclusions
The multicar discount doesn't apply to:
- The cost of optional extras.
- Any policies bought via a price comparison website.
- Any policies bought over the phone.
- Discounts are not added during the policy year.
- Buying a car insurance policy with another brand within the esure Group.
If a change in circumstances means you no longer meet this eligibility criteria, the multicar discount will be removed and will not be applied to the policies from their next renewal(s).

Frequently asked questions
Will I be able to drive all the cars I've insured?
It depends whether you're named on the policy or not. If you insure all the cars in your name, then you’re allowed to drive all of them. However, if you only insure one car in your name, you can only drive the other cars if you are added as a named driver.
What happens to my renewal dates if I insure more than one car with a Multicar discount?
Each car insured has its own policy, so your renewal dates stay exactly as they are.
Can I insure my personal car and work vehicle and get a Multicar discount?
Yes, as long as both cars are insured by people living at the same address and all Multicar eligibility criteria are met, including each car meeting our normal quote acceptance criteria.
If another car with a Multicar discount has a crash, will it affect my no claims discount?
No, because each car has it's own policy and no claims discount, so a claim on one won’t impact the others.
Is there a limit to the number of cars that can benefit from the discount?
None at all - you can insure as many as you need too!
