Here are some tips to try and help you with your next holiday

  • Booking a package holiday will be the most comprehensive way to protect your holiday. The UK government has confirmed that Package Travel Regulations will remain in UK law when the UK leaves the EU, so to benefit from this cover you should try and book a package holiday
  • Is your passport in date? When travelling to the EU, the UK government recommends you have at least 6 months left on your passport on the date of arrival
  • Before you leave home. Check with your airline, tour operator or travel agent that your planned journey has not been affected by any Brexit-related issues
  • Are you on any medication? Make sure you pack enough supplies, just in case your return trip is delayed or cancelled. Plus, always carry them with you in your hand luggage – although be aware of any restrictions on carrying liquid in your hand luggage if you have any liquid medication
