Air accident investigators are sifting through wreckage to find out the cause of the crash that killed five people in Kent.
The Cessna Citation I crashed into a house in Farnborough and exploded into flames. No-one in the house was killed as the couple who lived there were away on holiday.
Those who died are said to have include pilot Mike Roberts and passengers David Leslie, 54, a former British Touring Car Championship driver and Richard Lloyd, 63, the boss of Apex Motorsport who was also a former touring car champion.
The business flight had taken off from Biggin Hill Airport and was heading to Pau, in south-west France.
Chief Superintendent Charles Griggs, Bromley Borough Commander for the Metropolitan Police, said: "It is a slow, painstaking process. The Air Accidents Investigation Branch will look to recover any immediate evidence and once they have given us the all-clear the body recovery team will go on site."
